A piece of history for sale!
This VW Classic, converted in 2010, is our first
electric Beetle and after perfecting the drive system, it is for sale to some lucky customer. The Beetle is a Beryl green 1963 in exceptional condition. It spent most of its life in Yakima Washington where the dry climate kept it rust free and the little old lady that owned her took very good care of the car. It is mostly original, except for re-upholstered seats, carpet and a paint job done a few years ago.
The seats and carpet are very nice, bumpers and body in general are in excellent condition and the paint has some patina with a few touched up places. The Bug has never been in a serious accident.
Buy the way, the magnetic signs come right off.

After installing our very efficient 72V AC drive system with regenerative braking, it has been averaging 200WH per mile and after 20-30 miles use costs about 75 cents to $1 to recharge. With the AGM lead batteries it will go up to 45 miles on a charge under ideal conditions (20-40mph without too many stops) but can go over 60mph so hop on the freeway when you need to. Charging takes 4-10 hours depending on the miles driven.

You can also use “opportunity charging” at many stores and public facilities. The 25ft retractable cord is cleverly hidden behind the right side horn grill.
We installed a new set of low rolling resistance tires and synthetic
fluid in the transmission to keep the energy consumption as low as possible.
Our standard built-in charger is included and as in all our conversions, there is no battery intrusion into the passenger or luggage areas. All this is accomplished without drilling holes or cutting parts of this classic Beetle.
No tune-ups or valve adjustments, no oil changes and the Beetle appreciates in value every year!
